Southwest church of Christ Thursday School is an early childhood learning program. It is the school's objective to teach the children about God, his word, his world, and its' people. The curriculum is designed to help your child grow spiritually, mentally, and physically. Each thursday school teacher is one who loves children and will provide an environment of love and security. We look forward to working with you and your child.

Curriculum

Our curriculum includes Bible stories; crafts; music; letters, numbers, shapes & colors; and P.E., as well as seasonal themes. The learning situations will be varied using centers, small and large groups, and individual forms of teaching. A heavy emphasis will be placed on language development through stories, conversations, creative expression, and other activities, since this is basic to a child's development.

Most importantly, we want the children to know that God made them and loves them. We want them to know that they are special and have a special place in God's world. This concept will be taught and reinforced by loving, Christian teachers.
