Our Mission

Our mission is to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ to every person in the world. It is God's desire that we worship Him individually and collectively. Jesus told the woman in John 4:24 that those who worship God must worship Him in spirit and truth. Since that is true, we only look to His word to find out how He wants to be worshipped. His command and our blessing is to pray to Him through Jesus, His son.

Jesus' desire and command is for us to teach and preach His word. He has commanded the church to take up a collection the first of each week. He desires that we remember Him in the Lord's Supper on the first of the week. Jesus sang and He commanded His church to sing, worshipping Him and encouraging each other. We still worship as they did in the first century without any instruments of music. We simply sing as the Lord commanded. Collier's Encyclopedia 1961 Edition, Volume 1, Page 47, states that church music was almost completely without any instruments of music until the 17th century. We have not heard a Bible teacher teach that it would be wrong not to use instruments. Whenever we teach things about the Lord's church, we know we must show it is true by the Bible - Romans 12:2. The church of Berea searched the scriptures daily to see if what was being taught was the truth - Acts 17:11. It also says in Galatians 1:6-9 that if anyone or even an angel from heaven should teach anything different from what the apostles taught, let them be eternally condemned.

Jesus is yours and our only hope and He is more than able. We believe and teach that Jesus' statement, "Except a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven." It is our plea for every man, woman, and accountable child to obey Jesus. It is our intent to love God first, and then our fellow man as we love ourselves.
